Travel Notes: Yamba, NSW
We were lucky enough to spend a week after Christmas in the sleepy beach-town of Yamba, Northern NSW, one of our favourite escapes. Humble yet offering an array of interesting cafes, restaurants and boutiques. Its the kind of place you really can switch off, walk everywhere, take a guilt-free afternoon siesta and get around to finishing that novel.
The weather wasn't very kind to us so we had lots of time to try some new & old favourite eateries, notably:
Breakfast: @gather.yamba (for a healthy & hearty breaky) & @summisyamba (fab coffee) & Beachwood Cafe (Turkish style) & @thekioskyamba (bacon & egg roll is a must)
Lunch: The Pie Shop (try the corned beef!) & Paradiso (for margarita's, dumplings & modern asian delights)
Dinner: @pacific_hotel (pub dinner with a twist - fresh, home-cooked style with the best view ever) & @theitalianonthehill (delicious carb-loading), & @karrikinyamba (one of the best meals I've had in a while, a bit fancy!)
The balmy weather was ideal to give some pieces from our new Resort Wear collection a spin. Made with superfine 100% Cotton Voile, we've just launched our very first "separates" range where you can mix & match. These dreamy pieces are soft, breathable and comfortable. Below I'm wearing the Kimono Top, Leisure Shorts and (soon to be released) Olive Smock Dress in Daffodil - Copper. Sylvie wears her Harriet Mini Set in Caramel Dot.
Until we meet again, Yamba! x
